The modeling is built from fine lines, cross-hatching, and diagonal shadows on the right, creating volume without color. Outside the shell, the background remains almost empty. At the bottom, in engraved cursive lettering, the signature can be read on the left and a publisher's inscription on the right; at the upper right corner, a small number 7 marks the plate.

It looks like a little mermaid house! On top there is a huge shell with tiny lines like a fan and in the middle an empty shield where I would draw a heart or my name. Two little angels with wings and curly hair hold a crown with tiny balls and another little shell. Down below there are two bearded sea men hidden among curly tails and tangled little leaves. Everything is made with little black lines on cream paper and at the top right there is a tiny number 7.
